All Counselors can be reached by calling 702-799-6040 ext. 4300. Our Counseling secretary, Carol Monella, will then transfer your call to the appropriate Counselor.
You are always welcome to email us as well.
Students, there are many reasons why you may need to speak to a counselor: Academic Issues/Concerns - grades in a class, not understanding material, time-management, organization, etc. Social Concerns: Friendship stresses/changes, Needing friends, social media problems, rumors, etc. Personal Concerns: Family changes/stresses, Anxiety, Personal stressors, feeling overwhelmed, etc. This is not a comprehensive list, as each day varies in what it brings and how we handle it. Please see us for any concern you may have.
You can request to see a counselor by coming into the Counseling Office and filling out a blue request form located on the counter. Please provide details on the lines at the bottom of the form as this gives us insight into the issue to be discussed. Counselors will call for students based on urgency of the request and those of other students. You may also email the counselor if you have a quick question or concern that does not require us to meet with you in person.
IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT ANOTHER STUDENT'S HEALTH, SAFETY OR WELL-BEING, YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL OUT A FORM, PLEASE SPEAK WITH ANY COUNSELOR IMMEDIATELY!
